G.R.A.P.E. Video Recording Company was founded by Brett & Sharon Robinson in 1981. Standing for Greater Robinson & People Enterprises, G.R.A.P.E. Video Recording Company was born. A home office in San Leandro, CA along with a floor position in Holiday Bridal served as the companies Headquarters until 1985. The company then moved to Pleasanton, CA and in 1987 opened its doors at 89 W. Neal St. off of Main Street where the office remains today.
Originally the company was founded on Wedding Videography. In 1981 there wasn’t a wedding videography industry that existed until G.R.A.P.E. Video Emerged with the very first all-inclusive Wedding Video Package combining shooting, editing and duplicating. As the years past clients began to inquire about other video production services. Finally after much anticipation in 1984 G.R.A.P.E. Video began a slow progression into the corporate video production industry. The combination of both Wedding vidography with corporate video services gave the company a much more functional business formula for future success by streamlining production and future revenues.
In 2004 Brandon Robinson, son of Brett & Sharon Robinson, introduced an ambitious growth plan for the future of the company. In March of 2005 G.R.A.P.E. Video began implementation of the strategy expanding into three offices: 400 Main St. Pleasanton, 89 W. Neal St. Pleasanton, & even expanded into Sacramento.
