The History: Sacramento Young Professionals (SYP) was founded in March 2005 to help professionals connect better with each other and the various Sacramento places and events. Lolly who is very involved in the social and professional scene noticed that the hot spots were scattered with few means for meeting other professionals. Lolly decided to form SYP to help focus and cultivate the professional lifestyle in Sacramento. | About Lolly: Hello! My name is Lolly and I am a true California girl. Born in LA, raised in the SF Bay, and now a proud resident of the Sacramento area. I was born a ture extrovert, my first baby word was "Hi" and being around people makes me smile continually. In the uniquely social environment of Chico State I can proudly say that I graduated in the unheard of fashion of just 4 years with a degree in Business Marketing. To cultivate my organizational and event planning skills, I joined the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority where I held office as the Social Chair and Public Relations Chair. After college, my first job was in outside sales, then sales management for an SF company. In 2000 I relocated to Sacramento to run the sales and advertising operations of The Greater Sacramento Apartment Guide Magazine. I immediately loved the warmth and friendliness of the Sacramento residents. I have also enjoyed boating on the river, the Kings Games and the central location being just an hour from Napa, SF, or Tahoe. My passion is to have fun, 'syp' the marrow out of life and help others do so in the process. My goal for Sacramento Young Professionals is to ensure that all the young at heart professionals enjoy themselves and make their life more than just a career. | | Click Here to Contact Lolly on MySpace.com |
